National Parks of Utah, Antelope Island State Park and Yellowstone

Five more National Parks under our belt, and a revisit to Old Faithful in Yellowstone.  No words can do justice or describe the beauty and magnificence of our God's creation.  As we get closer to our goal of seeing all national parks and stepping foot in every state you'd think we'd get tired of it all.  Instead of a laid back attitude of "oh, there's another park", we can't do justice by attempting to describe  the magnitude of the creations before us.

We played the "licensce plate" game which was tremendous fun.  If you never played, I hope you'd be hooked like we were.  We started writing down plates from each state from the time we left home until our return.  We found 49/50 states!  Can you believe it?  The only missing plate was Rhode Island.

Even though pictures can give an overview of the beauty laid out before us, they don't compare to being there.  Come take a brief look-see at what standing in the canyons, looking up at the grand statues, peering down into deep canyons, gazing across the great Salt Lake, and having bison so close you could reach out and touch them is like. It is beyond my wildest imagination. Enjoy some (actually a lot) pictures.

Road from Twin Falls Idaho, to Reno Nevada
My Favorite Part of All

I didn't take any photos of the road from Twin Falls Idaho to Reno Nevada.  I was contemplating meeting my cousin Garry Kentzel in Reno (I can't believe we didn't take any pictures of us!!).  I hadn't seen him in nearly 40 years, maybe more.  It was a great re-connection and time well spent.

But, most of all as we were driving through the high dessert after 2 weeks of being in God's magical places and soaking in the grandeur of His creation, feeling His presence, we became closer to God.  What made this my/our most favorite part of the journey was driving, contemplating and worshiping as we drove for hours this day.  The Spotify play list of worship songs was absolutely perfect.  We sang, prayed, cried, laugher and simply were with God. We both could feel his arms around us, knowing we had just experienced, and we were experiencing something pretty special.  All the Glory goes to God, praise be to Him for all he has provided us.  Forever and always, THANK YOU in his Son's holy name, Jesus.

Amen and Amen.
