San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles (SJMQT)
SJMQT had a recent call for entry titled "Fiber Shot". The museum is currently showing pieces for sale. All money received from donations goes to support the museum. It is worth the trip to see all the donated pieces and perhaps purchase one to support the museum.
I had never donated anything before and decided that donating a piece to support the museum flowed nicely with my word for the year; Change.

This piece was painted using acrylic paint, fused to backing and then thread painted.
The back was stapled to frame and bias ribbon glued over the edge to finish it off.
